Very good summer duvet - but...

I bought a king-sized, grey cotton summer duvet and am very pleased with it. The colour has a little blue to the grey, which is perfect for my room. Even for a king-size it is enormous. There is a lot of 'spare' which hangs over the mattress giving the look of a bedspread. In fact, I think I might have been better off with a double as far as the washing and drying is concerned. It did fit in my 8kg machine comfortably enough and washed well. It also squeezed into my dryer but after re-positioning it a couple of times to try to dry damp areas, it still wasn't dry enough to go back on the bed. By the next morning it was fine but if you want to wash, dry and sleep under it the same night, I recommend you start quite early in the day and choose a warm, dry day so you can hang it outside for a few hours.

Just what I was looking for!

Bought two to use in our camper and they were perfect for the job. Lightweight, warm and easy to pack away during the day in the duffle bags. The cotton outer made them very comfortable to sleep under. Would definitely recommend.

Mottled after washing

I love but after following wash instructions it’s come out with an uneven colour. How can I restore as such a new item I would like to retire the colour please. Thanks
