We all have a secret ingredient to help us get to sleep or sleep well through the night; something that we know works for us.

Share your tip for a great night’s sleep and you’ll be in with a chance of winning this uber-indulgent hamper packed with ingredients experts claim make up the perfect night’s sleep – from The Fine Company duvets and pillows to a Lumia natural daylight body clock.

Your star sleep ingredient could be a quick tip, wise advice, an image or photo that illustrates the #SleepIngredients you can rely on. We’re on the lookout for anything that works; from the unusual to something your Grandma swore by*.

HOW TO ENTER

Simply post your tips and photos on FacebookInstagram,  Twitter and G+ using the hashtag #SleepIngredients and our clever Tagboard will find your entry (entries must be posted with #SleepIngredients).

The best ‘sleep ingredient’ will be chosen by our panel of sleep experts, and one lucky winner will receive the prize that includes: a Neal’s Yard Sleep Gift Set, Herbal Tea selection, a Lumia natural daylight body clock, Essential Oils, an oil burner, a John Lewis king size bedding set, This Works Sleep Aromatherapy Kit, Yoga DVD and Mat, Meditation CD, a luxurious Fine Bedding duvet and pair of pillows.

Terms and conditions

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO WIN

Eligibility: Open to all UK Residents aged 18 or over on the date of entry, except for employees of Trendsetter Home Furnishings Limited, participating/associated companies, promotional agencies and any other partners of Trendsetter Home Furnishings Limited and the families of any of the above. The closing date will be 11:59pm on Friday 10th July 2015. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from The Fine Bedding Company and its partners after the closing date and will be notified within 14 days of the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted within 30 days, an alternative winner may be chosen.

The Prize: The winners prize includes: Neal’s Yard Sleep Gift Set, Herbal Tea selection, a Lumia bodyclock, Essential Oils, an oil burner, King size bedding set, This Works Sleep Aromatherapy Kit, Yoga DVD and Mat, Meditation CD, a luxurious Fine Bedding duvet and pair of pillows worth £750.   A similar alternative of equivalent value may be substituted in the unlikely event of  being able to source the specific items. Prizes are not transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

    try not to look at anything bright just before bed such as phone laptop tv, also a few drops of lavender oil on your pillow or on a hanky near your pillow does wonders ! x

  4. A few drops of lavender oil on a tissue inside you pillow case helps get a good nights sleep.

    Clear your mind half hour before bed and do something non stimulating so the brain can relax and prepare for a calm night sleep

    I settled down in bed last night
    And closed my weary eyes
    I tried to clear my mind of thoughts
    But much to my surprise
    Though shattered from a hectic day
    WIth aching limbs, so sore
    My mind was flitting back and forth
    But why? Why now? What for?
    I tossed and turned, removed the sheet
    My body’s hot, I’ve got cold feet
    Should I get up and make a drink?
    Or will that mean more time to think
    A gentle elbow in the ribs
    Put paid to snoring from ‘his nibs’
    He seemed oblivious to my plight
    His body knew that it was night
    I then decided counting sheep
    Would probably send me off to sleep
    It didn’t help, the time rolled by
    But then I thought ‘a lullaby’?
    It worked in childhood, so why not now
    It did the trick, don’t ask me how
    Next thing, I heard the alarm clock ringing
    I had found sleep by gently singing

    A good quality mattress and pillows. Good quality cotton bedding. Hot bath with lavender oil, a hot malted drink and then to bed. This always works for me.

    #Sleepingredients I’m afraid I don’t have tips for a good nights sleep I have tried everything but still can’t manage a full night without disruption but have enjoyed reading all the tips and would love to win

    Warm shower before bed, with a hot chocolate and play some relaxation music quietly to help you sleep is my recipe for a good night sleep

    #SleepIngredients Create a to-do list for the day ahead to prevent late night worrying. Fresh bedding always helps and treat yourself to some relaxing chamomile tea and eat turkey with bread and lettuce (tiring foods) 🙂 x
