A pricey bag of feathers with little to no support.

I was quite excited about my purchase, I finally thought I’d found a pillow that didn’t require any addons.

The Gold Hungarian Goose Down Pillow is quite soft but this seems to be the issue. It most certainly ‘cocoons’ the head but the further you sink into the pillow the further the mattress is felt, I consistently felt as though my head was tilted forward. It is almost as though your head is going ‘through’ the mesh and feathers, yes it does puff back up when you move but lay your head down and the cycle has started all over again.

To make it usable I’ve had to fold up a thin mattress topper and place it under the pillow in order to feel fully supported and not like I’m cricking my neck. I’ve had the pillow for 19 days, more than enough time to test it and I’m not sure I trust the site’s descriptions enough to attempt to buy again. This isn’t what I expected of a pillow of its ‘grade’ and most definitely it’s price!

Natural pillows to tend to be a lot softer when compared with other pillows and the Gold pillow is one of our softest pillows. We understand there is no one size fits all and that some people will require more support than others. We do offer a 14 day return period so that our customers can feel the products before fully committing.

Early days but the signs are good!

Only had this for a few sleeps but you can tell it's quality from the moment you take it out the packaging. Feels fuller than other down pillows and moulds to your head shape while being super soft.
